Das kann ich gerne machen aber erst morgen im Laufe des Tages.
Habe den Schlüssel gestern noch mal getestet.
Er funktioniert an beiden Türen und der Heckklappe.
Im Zündschloss ebenfalls, allerdings ging er die letzten 2-3mm schwer ins Zündschloss und ich habe ihn anschließend relativ schwer wieder herausbekommen.
Müsste eventuell mal die Kanten vom Schlüssel ein wenig brechen, z.B. mit ganz feinem Schmiergelpapier oder so einem Schleifschwamm.

Was ich nicht hinbekommen habe, ist die Funkverbindung. Habe die Anleitung hier aus dem Thread genutzt, nach der Prozedur blinkt die LED am Schlüssel dreimal aber der Wagen schließt und öffnet nicht wie in der Anleitung beschrieben und funktioniert danach auch nicht via Funk. Das gucke ich mir im Frühjar an, da ja jedes mal die Benzinpumpe kurz läuft, wenn man die Zündung einschaltet.

Service-Schlüssel habe ich gestern auch noch problemlos geöffnet und den Transponder entdeckt, nun kann ich einen weiteren Service-Schlüssel ohne Bedenken bestellen.

I can do that, but only tomorrow in the course of the day.
I tested the key again yesterday.
It works on both doors and the tailgate.
It also works in the ignition lock, but the last 2-3 mm were difficult to get into the ignition lock and I then found it relatively difficult to get out again.
I might have to break the edges of the key a little, e.g. with very fine sandpaper or a sanding sponge.

What I couldn't manage was the radio connection. I used the instructions here in the thread, after the procedure the LED on the key flashes three times but the car doesn't lock and unlock as described in the instructions and then doesn't work via radio either. I'll have a look at this in spring, as the fuel pump runs briefly every time the ignition is switched on.

I also opened the service key yesterday without any problems and discovered the transponder, now I can order another service key without any worries.

Also, a common problem is that for whatever reason the remote receiver (in the rear-view mirror) locks itself for security reasons and does not accept new remotes. It can only be unlocked via ADS diagnostics. If your existing keys do not work as well, that's a good indicator. Just in case you can send me the mirror, I have the tools to unlock it.

Tür war geschlossen während des Anlernprozesses.
Die Linke Taste soll man gedrückt halten, sobald der Schlüssel abgezogen wurde und dann dreimal die große Taste drücken, danach blinkte die rote LED auch drei mal aber mehr passierte nicht. Mit meinem Originalschlüssel kann ich den Wagen per Funk öffnen.

Ich erlaube mir mal eine Frage dazwischen zu stellen, die nicht direkt etwas mit dem Thema zu tun hat.
Sind die Empfänger im Innenspiegel eigentlich universell austauschbar? Also Spiegel von Z3A einfach in Z3B transplantieren und fertig? Oder müssen dann jeweils am neuen Einbauort die Schlüssel neu eingelernt werden?

Ich vermute eher, dass die Entscheidung ob das Signal zum Auto passt in irgendeinem Steuergerät gefällt wird. Nicht schon im Empfänger. Aber lassen wir uns überraschen, ob jemand näheres weiss.

Nein, anlernen musst du immer neu. Die Schlüssel sind mit dem Funkmodul verheiratet, nicht mit dem Auto. Das Funkmodul steuert wie die Stellmotoren in den Türen einfach das Grundmodul an.
Lernst du nicht neu an, kann man dein Auto mit den Schlüsseln des Spenderfahrzeugs öffnen, und deine Schlüssel funktionieren logischerweise nicht.
Es passen alle 433Mhz Funkmodule aus den ähnlichen Baujahren (E36 FL, E46 VFL?, E39, Mini,...) mit dem Modul im Spiegel.

Hello, yesterday I assembled my remote control key. Everything went fine. Puzzle of: transponder of the new service key purchased in BMW + original used BMW electronic card of an old E36 key purchased on eBay + new VARTA CR2016 battery + new external case and milled blade from the seller "e-bacho".
I just noticed that the original BMW electronic board doesn't fit perfectly into the new case, the final part where the battery is inserted seems to be slightly too bulky... So when you screw the external cover it remains slightly raised on the final part.
For the rest it works perfectly. With the original BMW circuit board the button feedback is also improved compared to the Chinese replica circuit board.
